NOSTRADAMUS: DID HE FORETELL THE WACO, TEXAS CONFIGURATION IN 1993?
Where the SELF proclaimed "Lamb OF God"... David Koresh... DIED A SUDDEN DEATH.

Century 2: Q57 "Before the conflict the great wall will fall,"
The verse begins by telling us of the"fall"the destruction...caving in... of a large wall. The timing of it's destruction is to be before a period of conflict.
So far...a fairly scanty bit of vague information. Hopefully the added lines will be more definitive in meaning. All this rather strange...usually, a conflict...battle...is taking place when a wall is being destroyed.
"The great one to death, death too sudden and lamented,"
This beginning phrase..."The Great One," is very vague indeed...giving very little definitive description...unless...it can be taken to be a religious terminology for "God...the Lord...Jesus Christ...the Lamb of God,"
But the mystery deepens...and perplexity...when it tells of a Sudden Death...not a correct representation of the Death of Jesus Christ, and his slowly agonizing death on the Cross.
The added phrase about "lamented" seems a bit understated in this case. In a modern day historical perspective we just might have an answer to this perplexing word puzzle. In 1993...A religious leader by the name of David Koresh...who claimed to be Jesus Christ...The Lamb of God...died of a SUDDEN gunshot wound to the head.
His death lamented frequently by his followers and supporters...even to the present day. All this in conjunction with a destruction of the... wall... of his religious compound in the Waco, Texas area. The wall was bulldozed before the actual conflict begin.
"Born imperfect: the greater part will swim:"
The term stated here...could be saying...in a religious sense...Not born of a Virgin...The Son Of God, who was born an imperfect...sinful...human, and DID indeed die a SUDDEN death. The one and only...self proclaimed...DAVID KORESH.
The second part of the verse could be interpreted as the greater area...such as a large compound...where this incident of recent history took place. The obvious question is...why did Nostradamus use the term..."will swim?"
A suitable synonym for this word is the word..."dip."
A check on the various meanings of, "dip"...also include the word... "candle"...or the word..."TORCH." The compound...the greater area...the greater part...was indeed TORCHED by the Branch Davidian Members...the followers of The Lamb of God...The Great One.
"Near the river the land stained with blood."
This could also be stated as not far from the "Red River," a land stained. This is the meaning that the noted Nostradamian Scholar...John Hogue...gives to this last line...and by doing so, identifies the area under consideration to be none other than, TEXAS.
It should be mentioned that many of the members inside were found to have died of gunshot wound...and were not killed by the consuming fire. Indeed...the land was "stained."
In French: "Auant conflict le grand tumbera, Le grand à mort, mort, trop subite & plainte, Nay miparfaict la plus part nagera, Aupres du fleuue de sang la terre teinte."
An added note for those who hold other opinions: We do have scholars that do not agree with this type of interpretation.
One recently has stated that Nostradamus was no more than 10% strictly accurate in the giving of his Prophecies.
This particular interpreter is given a "3rd place" [ C+ ] rating by the noted Nostradamian Scholar, John Hogue.
We all have our "expert" critics. This bit of information is mentioned simply to bring to the attention of readers that their is a great amount of variance of opinion on just how Nostradamus should be interpreted...even by some of the most well known, and prolific writers and commentators.
I hope their is room for a variance of opinion...without ANYONE claiming they are "more right than the rest."
