Can
you say C-O-N-T-R-O-V-E-R-S-Y . Well if you can't say
it, I sure hope you understand it, because we are going
right down the middle into the thick of it.
First,
we will hit head on this hyped up coming global superspam
running around the internet. It appears its two author's
are more colorful than the latest science fiction novel.
One seems to be fixated on alien anal probes which provides
him with "orgasm's", while the other believes
in "aliens in a freezer'. Oh just ask him, he will
tell you "Oh, it's true. I have the photos right
here".
It
seems this Laurel and Hardy side show are running around
spewing their babble as if they stumbled across some new
concept never before considered. Oh yes, I have seen the
two articles passed around as if it is the holy grail.
Well guess what, my guest this Tuesday night knows the
players who wrote or were quoted in both the Times article
and Fortune Magazine. It seems the "experts"
quoted such as "Dr. Ruth Curry" and "Paul
R. Epstein" are well known for their slant as "environmentalist".
This is to say, these two "experts" claim it
is fossil fuels and other human pollutants which is the
cause of current trends. But there is more yet, it also
appears these two "experts" failed to qualify
their hypothesis. What appears in the articles as an event
that could occur tomorrow, is laughed at by their peers.
According to their findings, it would take closer to 5000
years to see Europe freeze over. Now note...I say "their
findings". As for myself, I do believe events could
occur within our lifetime, but it has "nothing to
do with us".
Tuesday's
guest is Dr. Gary Sharp, Climatologist. He authored a
report which was included in the United Nations ICCP.
http://www.iccp.net/
Dr. Sharp knows the two "experts" mentioned
above, and has a very insightful understanding as to their
background and premise as bias "environmentalist".
We will explore the accuracy of their accounts, and layout
a different scenario which relates to "Cycles".
Yes, natural cycles the Earth has seen many times before.
And yes, it is related to the Sun.
You
will also be able to read a "non-environmentalist"
point of view in my upcoming book "Solar Rain"
due out in Spring 2004. Chapter 7 titled "El Nino,
La Nina, and "La Cucaracha" explains the nature
of ocean currents, their trends and their cause. Chapter
12 titled "Given; A Warming Globe - But What's The
Cause?" gives another point of view suggesting it
is all about "cycles". "Solar Rain":

There are so many footnotes and bibliographies of researched
material, it could be its own book. Lets see what the
real "experts" have to say. But then again,
we are all just kind of guessing, now aren't we! Remember
your gift of 'discernment'.

"It
Was as it Was" Pope John Paul II
Oh
yes, there is yet another hot button topic of controversy.
It is the upcoming movie "The Passion's of the Christ"
due out February 25th. Thursday night's guest will be
Ned Dougherty author of "Fast Lane To Heaven"
and "Mission of Angels". http://www.missionofangels.org/speak.html
.
I
have just found out today via my phone conversation with
Mr. Dougherty, he has been communicating with Mel Gibson
and members of the cast. Ned will be hosting two of "The
Passion's of the Christ" Premiers.
In
Peggy Noonan's Dec. 17 column reported that Pope John
Paul II had seen Mel Gibson's movie on the crucifixion
of Christ, "The Passion," and had offered a
judgment on it: "It is as it was." The quote
came from the film's producer, Steve McEveety, who told
me that it was given to him by the pope's longtime private
secretary, Archbishop Stanislau Dziwisz.
At
almost the same moment Noonan's piece ran, the National
Catholic Reporter ran a piece by Rome correspondent John
L. Allen Jr., saying the Vatican had given a "thumbs
up" to Mel Gibson's film. It quoted a senior Vatican
official who spoke on condition of anonymity: "The
Holy Father watched and enjoyed the film. His comment
afterwards was, 'It is as it was.' "
