Two long-duration C-class solar flares which occurred on June 27th have been detected coming from sunspot region 1777. Two CMEs followed which are Earth directed and have caused a spike in the Kp index.

Addition disruption to the magnetic field due to high-speed solar winds coming from a new coronal hole located in the northern hemisphere of the Sun. Watch for extreme weather conditions over the next 48-72 hours.
