Indonesia Shaken By Quake

A magnitude 5.4 earthquake jolted Indonesia's province of Bengkulu on Wednesday just after 9:00 a.m., but there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.

Indonesia's Meteorology and Geophysics Agency reported that the quake was centered about 85 miles to the west of the coastal city of Manna, and occurred beneath the seabed of the Indian Ocean. Shaking was also felt in the provincial capital of Bengkulu, located 300 miles northwest of Jakarta.

A magnitude 7.9 temblor hit Bengkulu in June, killing at least 100 people and destroying numerous structures.
