Deadly Windstorm Hits Spain

At least three people in Spain's northwestern region of Galicia were killed on Tuesday by powerful winds that tore up trees and ripped off roofs.

Wind gusts from a storm over the Atlantic Ocean, which reached 60 mph, roared through the city of Vilanova de Arousa, toppling a construction crane and killing a worker and a passerby. Another victim in the city of Portonovo died when a tree fell on her.
