BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) - A strong earthquake struck northeastern Colombia early Monday, although there were no reports of injuries or damage. The 6.5-magnitude quake struck at 12:51 a.m. local time, the national seismological service reported. The epicenter was near Villadecuesta, a town in Santander State near the state capital, Bucaramanga, and about 258 miles northeast of Bogota. A 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia in January, killing 1,171 people and devastating the city of Armenia.
