JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) - A landslide buried part of a village in Indonesia's main island of Java, killing at least seven people, police said Thursday. The landslide early Wednesday buried at least 25 houses in Windusari village, about 155 miles east of Jakarta, said Lt. Djoko, a local police officer. He said rescuers have recovered seven bodies but local residents fear up to another 29 people are still buried. Rescue efforts were stopped Thursday when heavy rains pounded the hills around the village, stoking fears another landslide could be triggered, Djoko said.
