Two Killed, Six Missing in Greek Forest Fire

(Reuters) - Two people were killed and six missing in a forest fire that swept through a village in northwestern Greece on Thursday, fire department officials said. The fire destroyed a number of buildings in the village of Agia Marina, near the town of Ioannina. About 30 fire engines were working to bring the blaze under control, officials said. A combination of heat and high winds has fuelled devastating fires that have destroyed thousands of acres of forests and farmland in Greece this summer.
